Breakthrough Fellowship Program - Biopharmaceutical Marketing

Applicants for the Breakthrough Fellowship Program 10-week internship and intend to pursue their Master of Business Administration degree (MBA), or Master of Public Health (MPH) degree consistent with the time requirements of the program. 

 

There are 3 openings within the Breakthrough Fellowship Program that are aligned to the Marketing Function within Pfizer's Biopharmaceuticals business. Apply to this requisition of you are interested in one or more of the following positions: 

1.) Marketing Associate - Hospital Global Marketing, Internship: This colleague will have an amazing opportunity to work in the launch planning and execution of an investigational protease inhibitor antiviral therapy specifically designed to treat COVID-19 and to be administered orally without requiring patients to be hospitalized. The candidate will gain marketing experience in a key area of the business, as well as have the opportunity to collaborate and interact with cross-functional teams such as customer-facing roles, as well as advertising/promotional agencies, consultants, and in some cases external business partners.

2.) Marketing Associate –  Global Inflammation & Immunology - Ritlecitinib, Internship: The Intern/Associate will work on a prioritized set of assignments across healthcare professionals and payer marketing projects to support the execution of commercial strategies and tactics for the global launch of ritlecitinib in Alopecia Areata.   
 

The colleague will have exposure and be required to work with US and Global marketing colleagues, agencies and various cross-functional partners to deliver launch materials for ritlecitinib in Alopecia Areata. Additionally, the intern/associate will play a key role to ensure launch readiness, collaborating with the Global Director, Launch Excellence on reporting and tracking for (a) launch planning, (b) brand performance to inform Global Marketing priorities and evolution, (c) operating plan commitments & deliverables.

3.) Marketing Associate – Oncology, Internship:  The Oncology Marketing Intern role is assigned to the Oncology Business Unit.  This role will support one or more tumor areas or indications within the Oncology Business Unit and will work across the US and Global Oncology organization.  In addition to gaining marketing experience in a key area of the business, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and interact with cross-functional teams such as customer-facing roles, as well as advertising/promotional agencies, consultants, and in some cases external business partners. 

 

Requirements 

  • Currently a Junior pursuing a 4 year undergraduate degree  with a graduation date in Dec 2022 or Spring 2023

  • Strong track record meeting personal and team goals  

  • Accountable - being a prime driver for delivery against deadlines and having the discipline, care, and attention to detail necessary to be successful  

  • Possess a positive, continuous improvement mindset  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to navigate internal organization/processes  

  • Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word 

  • Min GPA 3.0
